What's on this month at MBKC.
MBKC will welcome The Bambino Kart Club for round 2 of its championship and also Formula Blue for its "zero" plate. All our club championships will run as usual with the exception of our bambino class on the saturday, This round will count as a drop down for all competitors in this class. We apologise in advance for antbody affected but most of you are competing in the bambino kart club event and we feel this the fairest solution all round. We have also booked the track for friday practice this month and anybody wishing to attend can enter for this online the cost will be £30 for everybody, all are welcome msa and non msa alike.
MBKC has decided to bring in the Cadet Front Fairing Regulation
Following the recent introduction of the MSA’s Cadet front fairing regulation for British & National Championships (mandatory at Club level from 2018), We have decided to apply the same regulation from April's 2017 meeting onwards , this rule will not apply for march meeting .

MBKC organises owner driver kart racing at Three Sisters, near Wigan, Lancashire. The 2017 club championship is 10 rounds from February to November all are on the 4th Sunday, with the exception of October. MBKC uses two of the alternative tracks available at one venue - Three Sisters to give drivers a variety of challenges in one championship. Three Sisters is a unique kart circuit in the UK with a wide track and plenty or run off giving it an unrivalled safety record. The Club Championship classes are Iame Cadet, Honda Cadet,Junior Blue, Minimax, Junior Rotax,Rotax Max, Formula Blue, Junior & Senior X30 and KZ2/125 Open Gearbox
MBKC organises kart racing for owner drivers. Racing is governed to
MSA rules; the MSA is the governing body for motorsport in the UK. MBKC is a member of the Association of British Kart Clubs
Racing is for anyone with an MSA licence between the age of 8 and 60+. Competitors are split into three age groups
MBKC is a club governed by its members. MBKC is a company limited by guarantee which means people involved in managing and directing it can't profit from the involvement. Surplus funds can only be used for the good of kart racing in the UK.
